I feel accomplished.
That night while I was fervently practising at a room in NAFA, Zhan Lao Shi suddenly walked into my room and said: "你这个也真是的，笛子协会演出你一点也不出力退票!"
I was stunned.
"老师我...不是的...可以的...这，这好说..."
Previously I told him that I did not want to sell any tickets but would do a terrific job as a backstage manager on the day of the dizi concert. In other words, 出力不出钱。
But apparently not selling tickets to him meant not "exerting strength".
“你要几张?"
"我...我...这个...."
"十张你先拿去。就这样。"
"......."
I stood rooted, jaw dropped, and stared blankly, 10 tickets fresh in my hand, dizi in another, which was dripping profusely with amylase.
If I practice more often in MPH I am sure the starch left over from MAF 2003 would be rid of.
And that was how I ended up with 10 tickets for a dizi concert this Sunday. The concert consists of young aspiring dizi players, with 2 dizi masters from China plus Zhan Lao Shi. As I am not going to be a professional player, I am not performing.
But that is not all.
I was busy with other stuff these few days and did not actively, seriously, passionately promote these tickets.
And that is all.
Yesterday Zhan Lao Shi asked me after the masterclass on the progress of the tickets.
I was stunned.
"什么？还没卖完？！你这么这样的？卫老师说华初那没卖！我发现你好像不是很会卖票！"
"........"
“老师我还在卖！能卖的！”
"我这还有17张票，你给我拿去！"
"好的，好的...."

I stood rooted, jaw dropped, and stared blankly, 17 tickets fresh in my hands, amylase dripping profusely from the side of my mouth.
And that was how I ended up with TWENTY-ＳＥＶＥＮ TICKETS.
I told ben ang to leave immediately after the masterclass. He insisted on talking to the dizi master on how we fared (both he and I soloed a piece for the masterclass) and how to make quantum leaps in our skills.
I ended up with quantum leaps in the number of tickets I have.
1 late step for me, a giant leap in the number of tickets I have.
No this is not moon.
I got pissed.
Nu Fa Chong Guan.
I asked Ben And whats the response from Raffles family and it was good. What about Hwa Chong? None! How can this be!
I devoted the whole of today to actively, seriously, passionately promote tickets to various groups of people. And please, dont ever think I appeal to sympathy to sell those tickets away. I don't. I use zhen cai shi liao. I tell you that this is really a good concert. No joke.
At last, I am left with 2 tickets, and waiting for more replies.
To those who supported and bought from me (oh yeah, I was rather surprised when Sua Yu actually bought a ticket! BSP must have made miracles!) , a very big thank you. I know you may not be interested totally in the concert but you still bought them...really, thanks.
